Meet Our Caring Dieppe, NB Periodontal Team

When you visit our dental practice in Dieppe, our friendly team will take the time to talk with you to understand your needs and oral health goals. Our team is made of a skilled periodontist and his team, and we proudly work alongside your dentist or other specialists to help you achieve your smile goals.

Mylène

Dental Hygienist

Mylène graduated from the Cégep de Trois-Rivières in 2007. Since then, she worked in her home town of Edmundston until she made the move to Moncton in 2012. She’s been working at Atlantic Implants and Periodontics since 2017. Mylène loves spending her free time with family and spending time outdoors. 


Chelsey

Dental Assistant

After graduating from Southern Victoria High School in 2014, Chelsey attended Oulton College in Moncton, NB. Upon graduating as a Level 2 Assistant in 2015, she started out in Oromocto NB, before receiving her position with us in 2017. She is a member of the Dental Assistant Association. Her duties consist of providing a steady flow to the office, assisting the doctors chairside as well as preparing treatment plans for the patients.


Melanie

Administrative Assistant

Melanie graduated in 2004 at the New Brunswick Community College in Dieppe. She worked in the public service until she joined our team in 2014. She is responsible for coordinating  appointments  for our patients. She greets and assists patients and assures effective scheduling which allow our dental team to concentrate on patient care and dental treatments.


Stephanie

Professional Relationship Director

Originally from Fredericton NB, Stephanie attended the Université de Moncton to complete her degree in Nutrition. She then attended the Dental Hygiene program at Dalhousie University in Halifax. She worked as a Dental Hygienist for over 6 years in Cape Breton and Saskatchewan. She joined our office as an administrative assistant in 2019. On her free time she loves spending time outdoors with her family and her dogs.


Christine

Head Dental Hygienist

Christine studied in Health Sciences at the Université de Moncton, NB before attending Holland College in Charlottetown, PE in 1992 where she received her Assistant Level 2 diploma. She worked as a dental assistant for two years and went on to further her education at Dalhousie University in Halifax, NS in the Dental Hygiene Program, graduating in 1996. She has been working in our office since that time. Christine is in charge of supervising the dental hygiene team. Along with the remainder of the staff, she regularly attends continuing education courses to keep up to date with new studies and technology in the dental field.


Charmaine

Dental Hygienist

After graduating in 1995 from Dalhousie University's Dental Hygiene Program, Charmaine spent the first five years between private practice and the public health sector in Nova Scotia. She then practiced for the next six years in Calgary, AB working in a progressive dental clinic and taking a variety of continuing education courses including the administration of local anaesthesia. She was able to move back east in 2006 and has been working with us since 2007.


Michelle

Level 1 Dental Assistant

Michelle joined our team in 2022 as a Level 1 Dental Assistant after working as a Supervisor at Winners for 15 years. She plays an important role in keeping our days running smoothly and efficiently here at AIP. Her duties include sterilizing instruments, monitoring inventory, and setting up procedure rooms for Dr. Edwards.  Michelle enjoys spending time with her nephews and her dog Rusty. 


Samantha

Office Manager

Originally from Grand-Falls, NB, Samantha attended Oulton College in Moncton and graduated from the Medical Office Administration program with honors in 2015. She worked at a General Dentist office for 4 years as well as a fertility clinic for 2.5 years before joining our team in 2023. As our Office Manager Samantha plays a critical role in our practice as she is responsible for driving practice performance, leading the team, and enhancing the patient experience  In her free time, she loves spending time with her family and traveling. 


Morgyn

Treatment Coordinator

Morgyn studied Health Sciences at the University of New Brunswick before attending Oulton College where she graduated as a registered Dental Hygienist in 2018. She worked as a Dental hygienist in general dentistry prior to joining our practice in 2020 as our Treatment Coordinator. Morgyn meets with all our new patients to help assess all their dental needs and prepare treatment plans. She was the recipient of the Sunstar-Gum award for excellence in Preventative Hygiene in 2018 and served on the board of the Canadian Dental Hygiene Association from 2016 to 2018.  In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family. 


Rachel

Dental Hygienist

Originally from Nova Scotia, Rachel graduated from Dalhousie University in 2015. For the first five years of her career, she worked in general practice in Nova Scotia, until she made the move to New Brunswick in 2020 and joined the team at AIP. Outside of work, Rachel loves spending time with her family and spending time outdoors, whether it’s hiking or hitting the golf course.


Nicole

Administrative Assistant

Nicole grew up in Fredericton and moved to Moncton in 2013 to study management at University of Moncton. After her studies she spent eight and a half years working at a cosmetic company, becoming store manager. Nicole has joined our team as a receptionist, ensuring quality care and customer service for our patients. In her spare time she loves relaxing with her cats and spending time in nature. 


Katy

Nurse

Katy is a dedicated registered nurse who graduated from the University of New Brunswick in 2013 with a Bachelor of nursing degree. Since then, she has specialized in critical care, focusing primarily on emergency nursing. Over the past decade, Katy has been a vital part of the emergency department at the Moncton Hospital, providing high-quality care to patients in some of the most urgent situations. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her two children, Cullen and Berkeley, often found cheering them on at the rink. She also loves being outdoors, taking peaceful walks in the woods with her beloved rescue dogs, Prosser and Ted, who came all the way from Texas to join the family. Her life is a blend of professional dedication and cherished moments with family and pets, embodying her compassionate and active spirit.
