Dr. Bruce Edwards
Originally from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Dr. Bruce Edwards completed dental school at Dalhousie University in Halifax, followed by 2 years of private practice in general dentistry. Three years later, he then completed his periodontal residency at the University of Michigan. His graduate research focused on methods for improving the accuracy of Cone Beam CT scanner based surgical implant guides. He then practiced periodontics and implantology in Saskatchewan and Michigan before taking ownership of Atlantic Implants and Periodontics in 2019. Dr. Bruce Edwards is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and Implant Surgery, a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists in Canada and a member of the Moncton Dental Society and the New Brunswick Dental Society. He is experienced with all aspects of periodontal and implant therapy, including hard and soft tissue regeneration. Dr. Bruce Edwards is also proficient in I.V. sedation. Dr. Edwards’ interests are football, hockey, water sports and spending time in the outdoors with his wife Stephanie, their sons Thomas and Bodie and 2 dogs, Finnegan and Woodson. They're very happy to be back in the Maritimes closer to family and friends and settling down into the community.
